My name is Christine Hoover and I am a wife, mom, daughter, sister, Counselor, Bible teacher, mentor, and friend. My vision is to walk with people to find healing, wholeness, and hope. Welcome to my little home on the web. I hope you feel encouraged, as well as find some information on what you are looking for while you are here.

My work with clients is birthed out of my own journey through pain, betrayal, and confusion. As I have leaned in and listened to what God has taught me, a passion developed in me to help others find this same hope. I have sat on a few "couches" of wise and grace-filled counselors who helped me see what I could not see with my own eyes. But I also know that many people (maybe you included) have sat on some "couches" and walked out feeling untouched and empty, having wasted your time and money. I take what I do seriously and commit to work as hard as you. Things CAN change. You can reach me at 936-931-8051 or schedule online here.

I have been married 28 years to the love of my life, Chris. We are the best of friends and he loves me well. We moved to Huntsville over 6 years ago after living in Bryan for 11 years. We have three incredible adult children, one amazing son-in-law, and one beautiful golden retriever (Prince Caspian), who almost certainly counts as a kid! Our oldest, Madison, graduated from Dallas Baptist University with a Communication Theory degree in 2016, married Garrett in 2017, and they are now "adulting" in the DFW area. She works for Visit Frisco and he is an Irving firefighter. Landon, our oldest son, recently graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Ecology of Environmental Sciences from UNT-Denton and our youngest son Colton is a senior at Baylor University, studying as a University Scholar focusing on Film and Digital Media. I was the director/teacher of a women’s in-depth Bible study ministry, Community Bible Study, before becoming a Licensed Professional Counselor. I enjoy laughing and playing games, a good cup of coffee with friends, camping in our vintage teardrop camper, reading, running, hanging with our family, taking long walks with our golden retriever, and beach and mountain vacations. I love having fun, but I take my role as a counselor very seriously. I am an active member of Texas Counseling Association (TCA), American Counseling Association (ACA), and American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC).

I consider it one of the greatest privileges of my life to walk with people into their hurt, pain, confusion, and disappointment. My vision is to provide Christ-centered, holistic, and insightful professional counseling to the communities of Huntsville, Willis, and Conroe in order to help people find HOPE and to:

move beyond brokenness and pain..... into healing.

move beyond unhealthy attachments and bondage..... into freedom.

move beyond resentment and anger..... into acceptance and peace.

move beyond toxic and dysfunctional relational patterns.....into healthy and life-giving relationship with God and others.

move beyond despair.... into hope.
